Flights for Days
We made it (almost)! We are in Peru; it's 1 a.m. and we are in Lima for another four hours until we head over to Cusco.
So far today has been a day of flights starting with Seatac at 6:30 in the morning. Thankfully, no problems with bags, checking into flights, making flight connections (knock on wood), and navigating through airports/customs.
I am traveling with an amazing group of people and the fun has already begun. Jessica discovered ways that we were all connected before the trip (mutual friends, weddings, etc) and it's been cool to see how small the world can be. They have all been giving me grief about posting on the blog because it didn't happen immediately upon landing, but I don't know what all I have to post right now! Haha we are approaching travel delirium, enjoying tea outside of Starbucks, and debating where we can sleep for a couple of hours before the flight begins boarding.
Here are a few things to look forward to:
1. We are trying to figure out what UW thing we can create to bring to the top of Machu Picchu.
2. We are great photographers.
3. Orientation begins tomorrow. :)
4. Corrin, Liz, Jessica, and Abby will be posting on here too!
Alright, I'm tired and going to go get a pack of cards to play go fish or something awesome.
